My personal brand of coffee inspired by the Aztec myth of the fifth sun; a symbol of regeneration and the Aztec search for the promised land.

The illustration approach combines the world of Aztec petroglyphs with the motifs of new age spirituality to create a visual language that tries to communicate like our ancestors; with no words.

Illustration for Something Special Studios’ book launch.

This was a very tight brief with a very tight turnaround asking for two ice skaters in beach clothes eating burgers and playing with a beach ball in a vertical pose.

I referenced figure skater pairs’ vertical poses and applied them to my style of illustration.

First set is from a series of portraits based on people encountered on the NYC Subway.

Second series is based on a trip with friends to the Lancaster Poppy Fields.
